Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as a reporter at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She later became a morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD TV. Her reporting in Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these instances. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award in South Carolina by the Associated Press.
